Dr.Vattikuti graduated from medical school in 1996 from University of health sciences in India with honors in Microbiology, Medicine and Surgery. She was awarded AS Rao Medal for excellence in Medicine. She came to the United states in 1997. She did research on Heart transplants at Temple University in Philadelphia. She completed her Internal medicine residency training at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. During this time she enjoyed clinical research in Osteoporosis. Her interest in hormonal disorders led her to St. Louis. She did her Endocrinology fellowship at Washington University in St Louis. She was involved in basic science research on the effect of parathyroid hormone on mice.
She joined the Arizona Endocrinology Center in 2005. She loves all aspects of endocrinology with special interest in bone. She is board certified in Endocrinology. She has been featured in “Leading Physicians of the World” Edition for 2012-2013. In addition to passion for endocrinology she enjoys yoga and gardening. She is married and actively involved in raising her 2 boys.
